GranFondo Cycling Tours San Diego

GranFondo San Diego was the first Grand Fondo in the USA. It began in March 2009. The San Diego GranFondo is patterned after the Italian GranFondos, which are highly energetic public cycling events that are attended by pros, recreational cyclists, and weakened warriors. In the spirit of Italian GranFondos, SDGF incorporates timed overall routes, KOM/QOM timed climbs, fantastic rest stops, route support mechanics and SAG, a fully included Italian lunch at the finish, along with a free massage, beer garden, and live band. Rest stop favorites include Nutella strawberry sandwiches and peanut butter, honey and banana delights.
