We serve Wyoming and Idaho. Contact us to learn more. Comprehensive ABA therapy is a type if therapy that can help children who have autism spectrum disorder in many areas. This includes communication, social skills and behavior. It is an intensive treatment that involves 30-40 hours of 1:1 therapy per week with a Board Certified Behavior analyst (BCBA) and a Registered Behavior Technician. As the child advances, sessions will progress to small groups and incorporate naturalistic teaching methods into treatment. Community support is also needed. Our team specializes in Intensive Behavioral Intervention (IBI) for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Focused ABA treatment refers to treatment provided directly to the client for a limited number of behavioral goals. This model typically involves reducing problem behavior(s) and increasing socially appropriate behavior as the primary focus. Individuals who need to acquire key functional skills (i.e. communication, safety skills, self-care/hygiene skills, social skills, independent living skills, or independent leisure skills), as well as individuals who are exhibiting acute problem behavior(s), would be appropriate candidates for this treatment model.
