You will hear every step your upstairs neighbor takes. Pray you have someone above you who doesn’t pace around for hours at night. It’s surprising how bad the sound dampening is for such a new building. Steps sound like stomps…these low frequency thumps radiate throughout your entire ceiling and are not easily picked up by a phone microphone It’s too bad this is such an issue because it is my only complaint. I’ve probably lived in 10 different apartments at this point from all over the country, new and old buildings alike. This is the worst for upstairs sound isolation.
I’ve been at Artix for a couple of weeks now and I can only say great things about it. The management goes the extra mile to help you settling in, the apartment - I have an open 1 bed - feels much bigger than it is, all the appliances are new, the price is reasonable - I’ve even got 4 weeks off - the amenities are top notch, the city and water views from the rooftop absolutely breathtaking.
I recently made the big move from NYC to Seattle, and finding the right place to settle into was my top priority. I am so happy I chose the Artix. Transitioning from the fast pace of NYC, I was looking for a home that felt both sophisticated and welcoming, and Artix has delivered on every front. The apartments themselves are absolutely lovely. The design is modern and thoughtful, providing a perfect sanctuary in the city.
