Estate at The Yards

I called this property to schedule an apartment tour. The employee LEROY on the phone simply told me that a tour was fine for the afternoon. He didn't even bother giving me a specific time, I had to ask him myself. Once I asked, he gave me a time, said "okay," and immediately hung up. What really stood out was that he never asked for my name, phone number, email address, or any other information. He didn't confirm anything, didn't explain the process, and didn't mention that the leasing office was located at a completely different address from the apartment community.

Don't do it. There are better options I promise. Review from a new renter. This is my third managed building in DC so not naive to the process or area, for what it's worth. Moved in during the last two months and was hesitating about writing this review as I like to give folks the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately management has lost that. Leasing team are nice to your face but nigh on useless in reality.

Been living at the Estate for about 6 months. My experience relocating was a little difficult dealing with movers, etc. However the personnel that worked with me were great! I worked primarily with Jeanette & Mario during my tours & relocation. Jeanette was outstanding navigating me through the entire process & allowing me space & time to make my own decision. Mario was brilliant in his presentation of the various properties offerings, options, & leasing deals. Mario has also followed up periodically & is always open & available for feedback. I give them both a big thumbs up!!!
