The Astor

We’ve really enjoyed our time at The Astor! The big industrial windows and views of the Sound and Tacoma never get old, especially from the rooftop with a complimentary cup of coffee. The location is one of our favorite things. We can walk to coffee, great restaurants, and The Buried Bottle for a glass of wine. We’ve also had a lot of fun using the unique basement spaces to host Tacoma Women’s Sailing Association gatherings and programs. The Astor has a great mix of historic Tacoma character, beautiful views, fun spaces, and a really walkable location. It’s been a wonderful place to call home!

My buddy lived here on the 16th floor.. pretty cool place.. it use to be a bank back in the day and invotated the vault into the lounge area and made a table from the vaults gears which is pretty damn cool..

This building was better than I expected. The Astor maintains so much character in such a cool, aged building while keeping high cleanliness standards. The rooftop seating areas were some of my favorite amenities, but the Astor definitely has so much more to offer on top of that. Staff is approachable & very understanding. But, most importantly, so kind! When I initially moved in, I found the space incredibly clean, which is something I deeply value. If I ever find myself living in Tacoma again, I’ll be checking out the Astor for availability.
