Air conditioning has been out almost 4 days, keep being told “someone’s coming today to fix it” and nothing happens. It’s over 90 degrees outside. Update: took them 4 days to fix it, lasted about 3 and now it’s out again. Update 2: AC is now fixed (again), but elevators were broken for a few days, finally got fixed, lasted a few days and broke again. Update 3: Somehow trash chutes are broken now so there is trash spilling into the hallways. Update 4: Nonexistent security, email was sent out about several apartments being broken into this week.
This place is absolutely disgusting. Firstly, the trash chutes were somehow broken for weeks, causing trash pile up in the rooms to the point where you can't even open the door. Caused the floor to smell pretty gross and attracted bugs. The doors to the trash chutes still sometimes don't open after being fixed, so then the pile up cycle in the trash room starts again. Maintenance also takes an extremely long time to get around to requests. When I first moved into my apartment, my bathroom sink was very clogged from the previous student's hair, so I submitted a request.
I have been leaving here for over a month and have had a TERRIBLE time. When I first moved in, the AC was already broken and was taken over a MONTH to fix during the Georgia summer. I have made multiple maintenance requests, gone to the front desk multiple times and sent multiple emails to the building managers and yet every tempted felt like it was ignored or sent into outer space. The management here is so unresponsive and incompetent.
